Hi, I’m Rachel
I’m so glad you’re here
I am a registered BACP therapist based in Forest Hill and East Dulwich. I set up my private practice to provide counselling for those in need.
My role as a therapist is to offer support, guidance and tools to help you feel empowered, find your voice and make affirming choices that will strengthen your own well-being and relationships with others so that in turn you can find happiness, contentment and balance in all aspects of your life. I firmly believe that the quality of your relationship with yourself and others strongly influences the quality of your life.
Every therapist has their own way of working with each individual. As a therapists I offer a place for you to be listened to, a non judgmental space for you to feel safe, seen, heard and understood. These fundamental values hold the framework in how I work.

My Approach
Creating a warm and comfortable environment is most important to me. What I offer is a place for you to be listened to, a non judgmental space for you to feel safe so that we can explore what is going on with you and around you. We will work collaboratively to develop trust, identify any struggles you may be facing and set feasible goals.
I merge Integrative, Person-Centred and Psychodynamic therapeutic theories. This means I combine the tools and techniques of many different schools of counselling to provide a service that is tailored to your individual needs. Together we will work towards identifying what might be getting in your way and decide which approach is best for you in order to make room for meaningful healing and growth.
I adhere to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy’s Ethical framework for Good practice in Counselling and I am committed to achieving equality for all regardless of age, ability, gender, marital status, race, religion or sexual orientation. I would be honoured to work with you.
